The Institution of Safety Engineers (India) have multilateral relation with Safety Engineering, professional Societies/Institutions/Individuals in the country as well as around the world. The ISE (India) play vital role in the field of safety engineering across the global destinations. The ISE (India) encourage institutes, Individuals, Industries and organizations including Govt. /Non-Government/ PSU/Private sectors to become the institutional members of The ISE (India).

The Institution is thus helping thousands of younger members of community working in safety engineering to obtain safety engineering qualification & also to advance their technical knowledge & enhance their safety engineering career but, who have been unfortunate in securing admission in regular Diploma and Graduate Colleges due to no fault of their through non formal system of education.

Service & Objectives of the Institute

The main objectives of the Institution in force are as under:-

Conduct Short Term Certificate, Audit, Diploma programme examination in field of safety engineering.
Providing Non-formal Safety Engineering Education (popularly known as Training Programme) in India
To promote the general advancement of safety engineering and their application
Grant certificate of competency for practice of Safety Engineering Profession by ISE(I)
Facilitates Continued Professional Development (CPD)
To associate with all organizations engaged in Safety Protection work and making significant contribution in promoting Safety Engineering Science.
Organizing Conferences and Seminars and Training Workshops as well as Exhibitions.
Rendering technical advice on any specific problem related to Industrial Safety.
To take-up assignments to evaluate safety Risks to carryout Fire Safety Audit and to provide safety Protection Scheme of Industries and Commercial complexes.
To conduct training programme for various levels and to conduct coaching classes, to prepare students for various safety engineering Examinations.
To provide Training and awareness of Safety Engineering, Safety Audit and Short Term Safety Professional education.
To arrange and manage undergraduate and postgraduates programs in the field of Safety Engineering.
To conduct research in the field of Safety Engineering education.
To provide safety professional literacy and other social activities by awareness program in the form of seminars.
To serve as an agency for effective dissemination of information related to safety Engineering.
To conduct vocational training program in the field of safety Engineering.
To publish or cause to be published and to print learning and other material developed by the Society.
To prescribe rules and conditions for registration of candidates for appearing in examinations in safety Engineering.
